Doen Fall 2019: Chapter 1

Doen, well-loved brand by Californians, effortlessly cool French girls, and hilariously awesome magazine editors, just dropped their latest collection. And, as expected – it’s pretty freaking dreamy. Below are my favorite pieces from this release…

Pretty sure this is the piece de resistance! Doen’s IG is one of my favorites to follow, and over the weekend they shared French art inspirations in their stories for their collection. This print was inspired by 17th century baroque paintings. Love the styling with the thigh high socks to boot. It seems to have mostly sold out in a flash. Not to worry, Doen pieces frequently pop back in stock, just sign up for a “back in stock notice.” 9/10 they are prompt and accurate.

This print is inspired by what else? Monet’s flowers. It also comes in a lovely blue. Unfortunately, I suspect this one isn’t for my pear shaped body, but the details are so lovely, and this color way appears timeless.

One more that likely wouldn’t suit me, but again so beautiful for the right body type. The buttons on the shoulder are such a thoughtful and beautiful detail.

I have my eye on this one – way back when, Doen shared a preview of Fall fabrics their IG, and this fabric immediately caught my eye. It also comes in a beautiful ivory/white, but I have the Valle Blouse from a few seasons ago in white, so I’m interested in this golden version this year. I have the Valle in XS (I hunted it down in aftermarket), but think I will go for a small in the Avonlea.

This dress is so pretty – I love the ruffle bib and high neck. Both are pretty prevalent across Fall Fashion this year, but I appreciate how restrained both details are here.

Of course the details here are incredible, and that terra cotta color! It is so flattering on so many skintones.

Will you be purchasing anything from this new collection?
